What’s the Difference Between a Good Teacher and a GREAT Teacher?

For the second year in a row, host Cheryl Jackson of TVOParents.com co-hosted the Premier’s Awards for Teaching Excellence along with TFO’s Gisèle Quenneville on May 5.

The Premier’s Awards celebrate excellence in Ontario schools in six categories: Teacher of the Year, New Teacher of the Year, Excellent Support Staff, Excellence in Leadership, Team of the Year and Lifetime Achievement.

“Teachers have a great impact on our kids and the Premier’s Awards are a wonderful way to recognize their hard work and the love, care and dedication they show our kids every day,” says Cheryl Jackson.

“And while the award winners are amazing, all of them are incredibly creative and dedicated,” adds Jackson.
