We are a smart, safe alternative to commercial broadcasters and have evolved from a single TV station to a fully digital media organization for the 21st century. TVO is not fully funded by the province of Ontario. Donor support helps us reach more people in more ways than ever before with quality content that “makes you think.”

We help kids and parents learn – with innovative resources like TVOKids, TVOKids.com and TVOParents.com that support the Ontario school curriculum and success in school. We build citizen engagement – through programs like The Agenda with Steve Paikin that provide in-depth discussion on air, online, on mobile and in communities across Ontario. And we help people understand the world – through factual and documentary programming that tells Ontario’s stories and provides every citizen a window on the world.
